[ Bahias de Huatulco ]

On Thursday, we mostly did classes all day! Here is a picture of the great set up and exciting time we had. :)

We also got to go for a pre-dinner hike that night!

Friday morning, we began bright and early! We hiked across the eco-reserve to the coast.

This is Jesus telling us about biodiversity--Oaxaca is one of the
most ecologically and culturally diverse regions in the world!

We took a boat over to another coast to look at fish!
We also visited archaeological sites that day. :) I was burnt and crispy like bacon, but I had so much fun! I forget what we did that night, but it involved lots of aloe vera. (Oh, I remember now, we went to La Crucecita for dinner

The next day, Saturday, was our day off! I went to the organic farmers market in the morning and bought some chocolate and jam. :) They were both great! I also ran into Philly, who had translated for Jesus the day before. He said he was going snorkeling, so a group of us went with him! We had burns on burns afterwards, but it was so worth it. Watch the videos if you can; they turned out the best!

After the hike, Philly took us up to a lighthouse!

That night another group of us went across the street to the Papaya, a discoteca. Unfortunately, no one was dancing by 12:30 at night, and the drinks were watered down, so we decided simply to head back to the hotel! It was a fun time though! :) The next morning we left Huatulco; I miss it already!

Paz y amor,
Abby
